This review is from: 50 Greatest Hits (Audio CD)
A mere 50 of the King's greatest hits, from the early Sun masterpieces that are "Mystery Train" and "That's Alright Mama" to the biggest hits from the movies, early RCA, the 69 memphis sessions and Jungle Room Sessions of 76.
Still, almost 50 years after recording his first song, nobody has had more hits or #1s, especially with such great music, consistantly from the first to the last.
There are too many legendary songs here to mention, Heartbreak Hotel, Suspicious Minds, Always On My Mind and Hound Dog; which is still, except for Candle in The Wind, is the biggest ever selling single in America with almost 5 million sold there alone.

Sorry to disappoint but the greatest selling single of all time was written (by Irving Berlin) when Elvis was 4 and recorded (by Bing Crosby) when he was 6. 5 million sales? Crosby's version alone of "White Christmas" is well past 50 million worldwide, of which at least 20% (hence 10m plus) would have been in the USA.
