This review is from: Ghostlight (Paperback)
Very good atmosphere, but a few too many jokes at the genre's expense that fell flat. The radical empiricist confronted by the paranormal made me, at times, scream "Scully" to myself. But the complete plot collapse at the climax really hurts this book. If her writing is deft in MISTS OF AVALON, a gentle tour director directing the eye towards all the best parts, she stumbles at points here, resorting to some awkward hand waving at points. At any rate, it was entertaining if occasionally annoying.
