This is a good idea with some good stories, a cynical style that one does or doesn't like, but it REALLY needed editing. Not only does he sometimes not use the right word (e.g. "tenant" for "tenet", "annuls" for "annals", "lays" for "lies", "compliment" for "complement") but the punctuation is terrible: apostrophes seem to be voluntary, no idea of the use of colon and semi-colon and commas sprinkled around with no rhyme or reason. Someone should offer Mr Rainsford a copy of "Eats, Shoots and Leaves"... I presume/hope he is not an English teacher.
