This review is from: Shark Chase Board Game (Toy)
The shark goes around the board far too quickly, meaning the game is over within seconds. It is so fast that responsibility for throwing the dice rests with just one player, on behalf of all the others. So your poor children will not feel involved with the game. I cannot see this appealing to any but the most unimaginative children. Hasbro should be ashamed of squandering the resources used in manufacturing, shipping and inevitably recycling this piece of junk.
Just to add insult to injury, Hasbro are too stingy to include batteries. When was the last time you bought a toy or game that didn't include batteries?
Despite this being possibly the worst board game ever devised, I have salvaged two positives from the experience of buying and owning it:
1. I can remind myself of Shark Chase whenever I feel tempted to spend useful money on useless junk;
2. My daughter's crushing disappointment in Shark Chase can be cultivated into a cynical view of advertising in general.
