I am never quite sure if I have eczema or proriasis, but have tried a number of treatments over the years with varying degrees of success. The problem area is on one wrist and round my thumb. I've avoided various foods, been careful about what soaps and laundry agents I use, and all the usual things. Anti-itching cream has been the most successful, and yoga worked for a while (but never completely, because after all here I am still looking for a cure) I've used various moisturisers and steroid creams but they don't help as much as the anti-itch stuff.
So I embarked on using this cream with an open mind but no wild hopes.
What I would say is that, as is warned on the packaging, it stings a fair bit when you first apply it. This goes away after some minutes but I was quite alarmed. It is supposed to activate the skin's own repair mechanism so I suspect that is why it nips. Anyway, within a couple of days the inflammation on my skin was noticeably reduced. I'm continuing to use the cream. It seems to be working. Only time will tell if this is a permanent cure.
