The leading book on detoxification today,
This review is from: Detoxify or Die (Paperback)
Catchy title but Sherry Rogers pulls no punches.
Fortunately she can back it up with a plethora of information, over 50 pages at the end of the book is dedicated to medical studies and references.
Without a doubt this Dr. knows her topic - toxins- and how they play havoc in our bodies.
One of the main reasons we are getting sick today is through toxic overload. As a health practitioner I am finding this more prevelent than ever.
Now there are hundreds of books on the topic of detoxification particularly in regard to what foods assist the body in this task. But Dr. Rogers digs deeper, including environmental chemicals which are everywhere and often unavoidable, leading us to being a toxic stockpile over time and the cause of nearly all disease in her opinion.
Dr. Rogers also offers a list of solutions for all budgets, which she personally has used but as she say's does not receive a kickback from.
I thoroughly recommend this book especially if you are currently experiencing health issues and have found no answers.

Insightful review - ive been looking for a good book on detoxification and I shall definately give it go. I must say however that the idea that all nearly all disease - in her opinion - is caused by a toxic stockpile is, in my opinion, completely false. I'm sceptical of any one dimensional approach to health and longevity, but I would agree that this is an area that is very important.
