TEFAL FRESH EXPRESS SHREDDER,
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Tefal Fresh Express (Kitchen & Home)
One of the things that we like to eat is a finely cut mixture of salad items such as lettuce, carrots, cucumber, feta cheese, etc. This is normally done by using a traditional triangle shaped shredder and a knife. I read many reviews and decided to ignore the bad ones about this product. How wrong can you be??
This product is useless for this task and in my opinion (as a retired engineer) a poor design. The only blades that work is the largest slicer, but I wanted strips and larger shredded items. It mostly turns out a mush and particles of food get jammed between the 'shredders' and their casing. We tried everything and read the badly written 'instructions'(In a multitude of languages) many times. This is O.K. if you want 'sludge or mush' but useless and very limited for grating. Its back to the hand grater for us. If anyone wants this at half price just get in contact (I still have its original box!)

I agree, a totally rubbish product. Half the food gets jammed. I would really like to see the how other people find it delightful. Everything we have used so far in it is getting jammed. Last night I was left scraping left over cheese from the casing. I have just called Tefal Customer Service to tell them it is an inferior product. They advised that I return it where it was bought Argos. Somehow, I don't think Argos will take it back. Might give it a try as I still have the box. It was only bought in December.

The family bought me one for christmas and the comments are absolutely accurate, the product is ''not fit for purpose'' to use the legal jargon.

I took mine back to Argos and told them it didn't work which it didn't and I got my money back. It had just gone over 28days since day of purchase when I returned it.

Completely agree, how is this getting 4 and 5 star reviews, it beggars belief
