Great bit of kit,
This review is from: MSI Nvidia GTX 770 Gaming 4GB Tf Fan PCI-E Graphics Card (Accessory)
I recently bought this from a different site so I'd get a free game with it (This is Amazon's only failing in my eye's), I upgraded to a 4gb model as it will eventually be in an sli set up running a 21:9 monitor which I know can exceed 2 gb's of ram when modding. However this review is about the card running a 27" 1920x1080 monitor at 60 hz. It is used with a 3570k cpu, The card is quiet even at load, I have the temps set to max at 80 degrees, Nvidia do run hotter than AMD as my previous card (MSI TF 7950 boost) never topped 70 degrees but that's just how they run and with the new gpu boost 2.0 that the 700 series cards use we are able to set our own limit that were happy with and the card will throttle down rather than exceed it. I always run a series of benchmarks with my cards so here are the results for the 4gb MSI 770 gaming,
NOTE: I always run the benchmarks with everything at maximum settings. The numbers will be shown as min/avg/max when applicable, The rig consists of a 3570k, 16gb @ 1600mhz of ram, 250gb ssd and this graphics card. The games themselves are loaded on to a 1tb Western Digital Red Hdd (I thought I'd better mention that incase it makes a difference).
Apart from the last game all results are from Benchmarking programs. All settings are at maximum, some results are shown with different Anti-aliasing settings. The graphics card from MSI comes with an MSI app that contains three settings for you to use with the card, The settings are called Quiet, Gaming and Overclocked. They adjust the base core clock. All these tests were done on the middle setting that's called Gaming. You can get an extra couple of frames if you put it on the top setting (Overclocked) but this is about gaming and for that reason I used the setting with that name. I was using the latest drivers from Nvidia (August 2013).

Hi, I've never messed around with overclocking the voltage on anything myself so I can't give a definite answer but judging from the voltage slider on Afterburner not working I'd guess that it is locked, but as I said because I don't know anything about it you'd be best of checking elsewhere if you where considering buying the card and that's something that matters to you.

Elsewhere it states that this card comes out today?...and are you sure you don't get a voucher code I know it doesn't say you do but it might just be in the box?...great review by the way!

The MSI 4gb 770 gaming has been around for several months now, maybe that was just when somewhere would have it in stock.

ta muchly, I wonder how I find out if they have the game tokens in the box, amazon uk customer services don't know but the US site does have tokens included which is leading me to believe they're just in the box and not mentioned, stress man!

I can't say 100% you don't get a voucher code but I've seen it mentioned so many times by people saying they never got the free games that I chose not to take the chance and bought my cards via overclockers uk site, Funnily enough when I got the MSI 7950 boost it had 4 games with it but when I ordered this the game was not in the box so I had to phone and wait for the game to be delivered. I'm about to sell this card via Amazon.

thanks for taking the time to reply to me I appreciate it, the only problem I have with overclockers is that you have to pay for delivery which means £10 extra at the moment. I will be buying the batman game, here it's about £30, so if the code is in the box here obviously it's £10 cheaper, if not then buying it from overclockers would mean paying about £20 for the game. Do you get one game per card do you know, because then I could sell the spare code on ebay for about £20. Edit oh I'm getting two by the way!
Double Edit: went with overclockers uk as I know I will get my free games that way!, I'M TOO EXCITED!!!!!!

Ordering from Overclockers was your best bet and yes you mean't to get one with each purchase as far as I know. Remember what I said, My code for Splinter cell was not with it so I had to contact them and wait for it to be sent seperately. So make sure you get it and if it's not with the card insist on it.
