Message to all music fans: There is hope!,

If you ever found yourself pondering how the music industry became such a lifeless mire of labels and artists more concerned with damage limitation than releasing challenging music then look no further than this first showcase from Memphis Industries to allay those fears.
The sonic intent is clear right from the start with a track from the Go! Team which is just the most fun you can have without breaking the law - if this is lift music lock me in! Right across the album the range of styles and genres on display is mind-blowing - Soundtrack leanings from Blue States, Broadway Project, La Mouche and Fort Lauderdale sit comfortably alongside gorgeous acoustic tinged balladry (J Xaverre), sampledelic romps (Go! Team), Lo Fi experimental (Jukeboxer) and even psychedelic funk (The Squire of Somerton).
This is a demanding listen but only because the music is so left of centre - it really tries to do something different. You cannot listen to this as background music and hope to understand what each artist is trying to do. Listen closely and you'll hear so many so many sounds and layers that you would otherwise have missed and it all makes for an incredible listen.
This is a music lover's album, plain and simple so if you don't like it you can't keep up - Busted are playing somewhere near you so run along.
