Is packaging consistent with new unused product?,
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Crucial BLS2CP4G3D1339DS1S00CEU Sport 8GB Kit (4GBx2), Ballistix 240-pin DIMM, DDR3 PC3-10600 Memory Module (Accessory)
Received this morn( Monday ).
Came in a blister pack which has one pocket empty.
Does this mean this is two modules shoved in the wrong package?
Or standard packaging?
I have received a small number of items from Am where the description of as good as new is inaccurate.
I need to have my suspicions to be shown to be groundless or proved warranted.
Thanks anyone who can affirm new Ballistix come as standard in such a blister with 3 compartments.
Ta very much.

Same here - and mine didn't work.
A single blister with three slots, whcih, when I look at the package, is very scuffed for a new item.
If they had worked, I dont mind...
... but they didn't and I spent far too long trying them and maybe risked harming the Motherboard...
Its always good to have some spares lying around... that way you can see what does and does not work.
And these didn't work.

Could be bulk packed product, it would explain the cheaper price and no retail packaging.
Or it's 3 channel memory repacked as dual so more easily sold.
Or possibly even used.
Anyhow, thanks for the information about the packaging but what about the important thing- did it work?
