Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
I've only ever used one other electric toothbrush some years ago but had to stop at the time, because my teeth were rather crumbly (due to a medical condition) and the brush was just chipping bits of tooth off, which put me off the concept of using one for some time until now.
My first problem came when I wanted to charge the brush and discovered that it only comes with a 2-pin plug - is it really so rare to not have a shaving socket in my bathroom?? It took me a couple of days to hunt down an adaptor to enable me to at least get it charged up - that in itself took about 14 hours.
Once I finally got started using the product it worked very well & certainly better than its predecessor. The fact that it has a "sensitive" mode was great for me as I found that suited my still relatively soft teeth better. The timer function is useful although I was too nervous to continually use it for the full 2 minutes you're supposed to so being able to briefly stop & start during the allotted time was helpful as it memorises the time so long as your break interval is no longer than 30 secs (within the 2 minutes).
It can switch between 3 different cycles - standard daily clean, sensitive, or whitening - the latter is quite an intensive clean, as others have said, almost like getting a professional dental one done.
It can also take other types of heads such as the Oral-B floss action or Oral-B 3DWhite brush but I've not managed to obtain those heads yet to try.
Overall, this is a solid & sturdy electronic toothbrush although perhaps slightly overpriced for what you get, but a model that will prove a good bathroom addition for many.
