Where do I start?
The chuck seems as good a place as any. After a few years of improvement it seems that Stanley Black & Decker group are cost cutting again. The chuck on this drill is flimsy and doesn't tighten up properly. It comes loose when you use hammer action.
The clutch. Anything bigger than a 5mm HSS bit and the clutch slips in any torque setting. Cost cutting again.
The 4Ah battery. Longer lasting than the 3Ah? Not by a long shot. Bench tests in the workshop like for like showed that the 3Ah battery lasted almost twice as long. On top of that the 4Ah battery got so hot that I had two catch fire under normal trade use.
Cherger. 30 mins? You'll be lucky. Try 80 minutes!
On the plus side, it's well balanced and the case is rugged enough.
Oh, I worked for Stanley Black & Decker when I tested this tool out :)
