Not good with lotion,
This review is from: Manicare Cotton Moisturising Gloves (Personal Care)
I bought the Manicare spa socks before buying these. I was very happy with the socks for preparing my feed for removal of hard skin, and bought these hoping for the same softening effect.
Unfortunately, the gloves seem to suck up more moisture than they give. To get an effect, I have to use enough lotion to saturate the material of the gloves, meaning I might as well not wear them for all it protects my surroundings against oily lotion stains.
I'd recommend using something less liquid than lotion with them, such as a semi-solid body butter, or the lemon recipe: squeeze the juice of a lemon wedge into your hand, cover both hands, then rub your hands with a tablespoon of sugar. Put on the gloves, leave on for at least a couple of hours or overnight. Your hands need to be wet with lemon before adding the sugar, but not dripping (shake them off gently).
