This review is from: The Everest Files (Kindle Edition)
Totally implausible plot. Contradictory descriptions of Nepalese character and implausible motivations and actions of most of main characters. Not even a "moral" book as the one character who acts morally and consistently, the young sherpa, ends up paralysed. Considering this is written by a mountaineer who has considerable Everest experience even the climbing descriptions ( of which there are not enough) are poor.
Just as an example why does the American villain , suddenly become an angel and care for the young sherpa? Why does he live in a cave to which access is suicidal ? Just a couple of many implausabilities. I will not be reading the sequels.
