A disappointing return to WOT world,

This review is from: The Path Of Daggers : " Wheel Of Time " : Book 8 : (Hardcover)
POD was awaited by me with great expectations, now? I wish I had read Great Expectations, it is almost as mundane in it's Victorian usage of descriptive perfidy.
The whole series I find to be great, but as a series of eight? I don't think so, it could be condensed into four and be much tighter and better for it. What are you trying to do Jordan? It is very presumptious to try and beat the Lord of the Rings as a series, mind you, it will probably take as long to get there as Tolkien took to write his masterpiece.
This book should come with a guarantee of satisfaction, seeing as you think it is the best yet, you wouldn't be coining it in if you did, you would have piles of books with only the first few chapters worth of pages turned back.
I have sold it on to someone else who would have gone out and bought their own copy, I wish I had read the reviews here first, which I will with the next.
Jordan is a fine author, but it seems he makes even a finer marketing specialist, should best yet read most profitable yet?
As an aspiring author just finished his first novel it is galling to spend god money on what amounts to a drawn out epilogue of the last seven in the series.
Do better or do one.
