HP- Horrendously Pathetic,
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: HP p6-2020uk G620 Desktop PC (Intel Pentium G620, 2.6 GHz Processor, RAM 4GB DDR3, HDD 1.5TB, Intel HD Graphics 1.69 GB, DVDRW, Windows 7 Home 64 Bit) (Personal Computers)
This was brought as a present for my wife as she need a new desktop. The product arrived promptly, however was not used immediately as it didn't have microsoft office on. After purchasing and installing microsoft office it was used for exactly 2 times! The lights were on but nobody was home! The hard drive failed to cut in upon pressing the power button. I called HP who sent out a "new" hard drive which arrived but couldn't be used until the start up disks arrived- these came 1 week later! New hard drive was installed and now didn't have microsoft office on it! The new hard drive worked for approximately 5 hours then the same problem occured. The machine was arranged to be collected via courier and taken to be repaired by HP. This was the beginning of another series of events!!! They informed me it would take upto 2 weeks to repair. After 2 weeks I phoned HP to find out what was happening... they had repaired the PC- needed new motherboard?!? but now was unsure as to the whereabouts of the desktop... it had gone missing!!! I phoned up the courier, they said they had no parcel for my address and told me the last date that they had delivered a parcel to me according to their records- this information was correct. I phoned HP to see if they had located the missing desktop they said that they had emailed me phoned me and tried to deliver to my address all of which were lies!!! They then stated the courier had returned the desktop back to them which they arranged to re-deliver. Upon waiting in all day I phoned them to ask where the desktop was? I was told as it was the weekend (It was 4.30pm on Friday) that they couldn't trace it until Monday... 9.45am Monday the Desktop safely arrived home, the courier stated he was always returning computers back to HP and from my experience I would never buy a HP again!
