4.0 out of 5 stars Nice watch, 7 Dec 2011
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Rotary Men's Mechanical Watch with Silver Dial Analogue Display and Brown Leather Strap GS02521/06 (Watch)
Rotary Gents Skeleton Strap Watch Is a very attractive hand wind watch. Having a glass back lets you see the internal workings well, is always a talking point with others. The only slight problem (if it is a problem to others) is the crown is quite smooth and sometimes proves difficult for me to wind. But a thin latex or cotton glove or thin cloth solves the problem.

Ali Raheem says:
An "Automatic" watch winds itself. It's clearly mechanical as you said, its also clearly non-automatic since you can't see the rotor/weight.

If the crown is a big problem for you, then you should consider having it replaced. It's a very minor job for a watchmaker to carry out.
