Nice Combination for City Sky Viewing,
This review is from: Premium Blue 1.25" Skyglow Light Pollution & Moon filter for telescope eyepiece lenses. (Electronics)
I'm a newbie astronomer using a 254PX Skywatcher Dobsonian, living in Heaton, Newcastle upon Tyne. Dreadful light pollution and when the Moon is near full, and Jupiter is well up, even Orion looks dim.
I could not get to M42 by star hopping. When I put the lunar and skyglow filter, it felt that I was seeing a non-light polluted sky. I was able to get to M42 in the end.
For lunar work, it reduced the glare a great deal, and it felt like contrast was better than without the filter.
Felt the biz, including the packaging. Would recommend this item.
