strong but not as good as expected,

I found the clippers a good weight and cut very well, but whether it was my technique or not found my toe nails would break along the line of cutting even when cut in tiny steps forward. Needs some practice and I'm still not that good at it. Any suggestions on technique?!

The best time to cut your nails is straight after a bath or shower when your nails are more flexible and less likely to break.

Thanks for the reply. I have tried to cut when the nails are softer, after a shower - it does help.
