Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: SoundMagic PL50 Professional in Ear Monitor Earphones (Electronics)
For all the excellent reviews around the web, and for reasonable money, I bought these as an alternative to my OOP Aiwa pipephones.
Oh what a disappointment.
Nothing but flat treble and a complete lack of bass. No life and presence whatsoever, even after a burn in.
If these are soundMAGIC's top end earphones then I'd hate to hear their worst.
Only get two stars for the plethora of tips provided (which did not help sound quality) over ear clips, and case.
How these are rated so highly is beyond me. Please avoid if you enjoy a quality audio experience on the move.

Have you tried the other buds included? That can make a huge difference in these in-ear types.

I agree with the previous comment by XMBI, I think this reviewer hasn't been using a large enough bud. I have the PL11's and I can tell you they are the best earbuds I have ever used with great accuracy and tone for the price. A good seal is always required between the earbud and the ear canal with this type of design. If you don't have that, you get poor sound.
