Quite a good read,

This review is from: The Vogue Factor (Paperback)
I've always had an interest in fashion and magazine industries in particular. This book is quite a good read - not at all the 'shocking expose' it was marketed as, there are a few sentences about how thin the models are, how trying the photographers are etc but nothing shocking! Basically it is an autobiography. It provides an insight into Australian Vogue - although I have to say Clements' views at times are a little trying - she has majorly stereotypical views of the English, Americans and French to name a few!
If a publisher of British or American Vogue ever publish a book I will read that! This book isn't very long because there is not much to say about Australian Vogue - there is a nice look back at some of the history of it, it is very focused on Australian models, photographers, designers - naturally! But it is a bit of an 'underdog' Vogue, so I have a feeling the really interesting stories would be amongst the larger publications like American or British Vogue.
