Not Crysis in a city sadly,
This review is from: Crysis 2 - Limited Edition (PC DVD) (DVD-ROM)
I had very high hopes for this game. While it is a lot of fun, it just doesn't manage to match up to the first game for me. The designers have done a pretty good job at making a very linear game not appear so. Although there always is really only one way through the game it does give you options on how you wish to proceed. One of the great things about the first game was that you could go wherever you wanted. There was no reason to wander off the path, but you could. It's this feeling of freedom that made the first game feel so natural. The story wasn't quite as immersive as the first either. I know with sequels it's often tricky to think up a story line that are more epic than the first. The way ammo crates give you ammo for basically every type of gun made the whole game feel quite easy really. If you have a computer that will run this game full settings with the high-resolution texture pack and Directx11 visual pack this game if really really beautiful. I may have come across as being very negative about this game but it really is quite a bit of fun.
