The beginnings of horror rock superstar Rob Zombie,

This review is from: La Sexorcisto: Devil Music Volume 1 (Audio CD)
This album is not as immediately accessible as the excellent 'astro creep 2000', but given time will become a firm favourite with many Rob Zombie fans and also people who enjoy classic and modern metal - which it nicely abridges.
It sounds a lot older than astro creep, with more classic solo's and riffing, but still has the horror movie influences that many people enjoy. The guitar sound is excellent, drumming technically perfect, and vocals are classic Zombie. Sean Yseult's bass, while not always prominent, is quality and no one can fault the introduction she does for Black Sunshine.
My favourite tracks are the upbeat 'Thunder Kiss 65' and slow grinder 'Warp Asylum'.
