sci-fi satire classic,
This review is from: Invaders Plan (Paperback)
The first of a ten-part series. The book is a page turner from start to finish The nearest I can get to describing it's style is a cross between Edgar Rice Burroughs and P.G Wodehouse.
Some reviewers allude to the author's creation of the Scientology cult. There is no trace to be found within this novel. Mr Hubbard's contempt for psychologists and psychiatrists is reflected, perhaps with good reason; spellcheck Freud and the suggested answer is often fraud.
Some suggest Mr Hubbard was paranoid, but just because you're paranoid,it doesn't mean they're not out to get you.
Allow the novels to stand or fall on their own merits. I found this and the sequels excellent and believe the vast majority will as well. Highly recommended. Enjoy!
