Snappy, concise, to-the-point - there's no nonsense here, as Graham Davies hammers home some pretty brilliant concepts for turning you into a knockout presentation-giver. The anatomy of the perfect presentation is laid bare with a whole array of techniques to use - so after the relatively short read through, you'll soon be "pausing and spiking", and "saying, supporting and shutting it" with the best of them. It's aimed at anyone who gives presentations of any kind - not just business presentations with PowerPoint. In fact, anyone undertaking any kind of public speaking would find this book full of useful advice.
Davies uses a pipeline metaphor to help you visualise the delivery of your presentation / speech, which works in all these techniques (handily buzzworded and abbreviated so you can remember them!) so you get the right mix in the right order. It's not just delivery of the presentation which is covered either, but also how to control Q&A sessions after the main speech - excellent advice to prevent you from sounding bland.
Just great coaching without unnecessary bumph - I've already found the advice in this book invaluable in the presentations I give regularly at work, and can't recommend it enough for anyone speaking in public.
