5.0 out of 5 stars Canon Powershot A2400IS, 21 July 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Canon PowerShot A2400 IS Digital Camera - Silver (16.0 MP, 5x Optical Zoom) 2.7 inch LCD (Electronics)
I already have a canon EOS and I was looking for a small pocket camera to replace an old Nikon camera. At the discounted price on Amazon of £79.99 for the Canon Powershot I did not think I could lose. I rather expected a cheap camera at that price. However I am amazed at the quality of pictures and features available comparable to much more expensive cameras. Amazing value, lightweight with a good LCD screen. Ideal for carrying in your pocket and on holiday.

E. K. Moat says:
When you say it has a good LCD screen, is it clear. I've just received mine and the LCD looks rather fuzzy to me. I've only tried it indoors as yet but compared to my old Fujifilm E550 the Canon's LCD is pretty poor. The pictures come out very clear though.

Does this camera have the facility to do basic editing of video clips from within the camera itself without using a pc ?
Using a waterproof bag, I shoot video clips whilst snorkelling. I like to review the clips on the camera and remove / edit out any rubbish bits to save wasting valuable memory card space.
