An excellent insight into a very difficult subject,

This review is from: Death, Dying and Bereavement (Paperback)
This book gives an excellent insight into this very difficult subject; a subject that is rarely acknowledged other than by making polite noises. Points of view come from all kinds of background, from professionals to lay-people. It reveals the difficulties that professionals themselves have and how pressure is put on them to know everything. It tells of difficulties faced by carers in looking after dying people and of dying from a dying persons perspective. The whole book is fascinating, full of different writing styles, cultures and opinions. Given the subject, there are parts that are upsetting but then that's part of acknowledging, isn't it?
