This review is from: Forbidden The Stars (The Interstellar Age Book 1) (Kindle Edition)
I skim read the last 75% of the book in order to save my sanity.
The interesting ideas in the book are buried in large sections of stilted tedious prose.
Character and plot development is slow and boring except for the exciting bits which are glossed-over.
The author can explain how to measure the weight and density of an asteroid but there are joyless descriptions of special powers.
The end of the book is merely a setup for the sequel. No real closure.
Avoid. You have better things to do with your time even if you have insomnia!
Sorry Valmore, an old school publishing house would never have let this rambling novel out of the door.
