How can one feel short changed by a novel that was zero cost (on kindle)?
I have a weakness for books in general, such that I rarely finish reading one before the end. This one tested that to the Nth degree, as it should have been clear from the clunky writing and awkwardly developing plot that this was going nowhere. However, some way into the story the interesting concept developed that by a ship going into hyperdrive (or whatever) then a singularity would/could result (this being the supposed reason why aliens attack earth, to stop such eventualities). Great, some real Sci-fi in prospect. After that, however, the issue never arose again, despite ships repeatedly going into and out of hyperdrive. The tedious and totally unbelievable romance storyline did recur however, on, and on, and on. Totally irrelevant to what the story should and could have become. It made me suspect that "David Adams" is female. (No slight intended to female writers, just that some things emerge from their writing that doesn't from most men's).
Total rubbish; one star awarded because zero stars isn't an option.
