This review is from: Panasonic DMR-HWT130EB Smart 500GB Recorder with Twin Freeview+ Tuners (Electronics)
My wife loves films but they are shown very late and my wife goes to bed at about 10.30pm. This machine solves the problem but does it in an easy way. My wife wants something that is easy to set up and this machine fits the bill. So far we are both happy that this is a machine that is easy to use for simple needs. I did look at buying a Youview machine but the reviews were mixed in its execution although the concept looks good. The machine is compact in size and the quality of the recordings look good so we are happy.

Mr. P. James says:
Hello, do you know if you are able to watch recorded content from this device over DLNA, for example, a TV / Tablet in another room with DLNA support could watch the programmes recorded?

I don't know the answer to this question- but if you found out, I'd be greatful if you'd reply to this thread. I have a WD TV Media Play box attached via HDMI to bedroom TV, and I'd like to stream recordings to it if possible...?

Mr. Robin D. Lings says:
I have a Panasonic DMR-BWT720 smart DVD recorder located in my lounge and when I switch on my Panasonic smart TV in the bedroom and select 'Media Server' the DVD recorder shows up in the menu and I can access it and watch programs I have recorded on the bedroom TV. Hope this answers your question.
