This review is from: The Unknown Soldier: The Story Of The Missing Of The Great War (Paperback)
The first past of the book focuses upon a British Tommy, a German infantryman and an American airman quite typical of the men who fought in the Great War which in itself makes an interesting read.
However, the book really set itself apart from other Great War books by the depth of study in those left to mourn.
All in, an enlightening read and the author especially deserves credit for the supporting evidence in his research. A very well researched and thought out study into the cult of the Unknown Warrior.
