Knowledgeable and Interminable,
This review is from: Bouncing Back: Rewiring Your Brain for Maximum Resilience and Well-Being (Paperback)
A great deal of explanation about the workings of our brains and over 80 mental exercises. I suspect this is a book to be taken slowly. However, I am not convinced that even half of the exercises have any evidence of rewriting the brain, which is the repeated intention in this book.
Further, I see (so far) not a single review (here or at amazon.com where there are many more reviews) stating any benefit actually obtained from the exercises. (1 said they were helpful but that seemed faint praise.) Contrast that with the hundreds of review (adding the ones here to those on amazon.com) for the "Healing Code" by Lloyd, with many statements of measurable improvements.
For me, the jury is still out on this book. I prefer "Resilience" by Southwick or "Just One Thing" by Hanson.
