This is one of the best albums I have ever heard. If you haven't heard Babylon Zoo in a long time you'd be forgiven for writing it off as just a load of cheesey pop-music from a one-hit-wonder band but although 'Spaceman' was hugely popular in its day, the quality of the album never drops all the way through. So maybe some of the songs sound a little similar, but at least they all sound good. The whole album has a sort of space-age grunge feel to it brought on by the keyboards and layers of guitars. It's the little touches like the subtle guitar solos in the background of the choruses and the sound effects slipped in that really set this album apart from others. A lot of the songs such as 'Paris Green', 'Spaceman' and 'Caffiene' remind me of the slower songs off 'Mechanical Animals' by Marilyn Manson if you've ever heard them. Then there is 'Is Your Soul For Sale', the piano ballad of the album.
Just incase you're wondering what the difference is between this Japanese version of the album and the regular one, well, this version has a bonus track called 'Cosmic Dancer' which is a soft little song with not much guitaring in it but it's still nice to listen to.
