far from expectations,
This review is from: Once Upon a Time in the West -- Special Collector's Edition (2 discs) [DVD] (DVD)
I already watched A fistfull of dollars, For a few dollars more,The Good The bad And The Ugly and A fistfull of dynamite All of them are very typical spaghetti western but this film is very serious and boring C.bronson and C.cardinale are revenge takers it is a monotonic film

This is one of the few times where I'm literally strong-armed by my mind to ask two questions:
1) What film were you watching? Cause it clearly wasn't this one
2) What is the matter with you?
Calling this film monotonic is like calling the Sad Hill showdown in The Good, the Bad and the Ugly "slow-paced". you just don't do it, because it isn't true

A great critic's film... less a piece of pure entertainment?
The wit of the Dollars Trilogy is fazing out by the time of Once Upon A Time In The West. True, that Leone may have had designs to achieve greater things, but the writing/acting in a film like For A Few Dollars More is more to my taste, even good ol' Butch Cassidy.
Although I own it on DVD and the extended Italian Morricone soundtrack CD, I just can't admit to loving this (like Once Upon A Time In America).
