3.0 out of 5 stars Decent compilation, 5 Dec. 2011
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: 100 Hits Punk & New Wave (Audio CD)
Although most of us will have these tracks umpteen times this is well worth the money, a bargain for a fiver.

Still wish all these punk compilations would put the correct single version of The Members "Sound Of The Suburbs" on the CD though rather than the album version!!!

Don't get me started on correct single versions!

The Rezillos' Top Of The Pops
Boomtown Rats Like Clockwork and Rat Trap
Talking Heads - Once In A Lifetime

to name but 3 where they keep using the wrong track on compilations!

This is one I don't know - how do you know which is which?

(Later)

OK the single version runs about 3:15 and has train announcements at about 2:20 in.

The album track is about 3:54.

Amazingly I have this on 9 different compilations and only one has the single version on. (That one is No More Heroes - 60 Punk & New Wave Anthems)
