This album is fantastic. The sound of Pretty Girls Make Graves sandwiches between At The Drive-In and ...Trail Of Dead. Throw in a female vocal and the picture is painted. This album demonstrates the sound of the US underground indie guitar rock in 2002. It is an essential listen for anyone looking for an alternative, without any major label intervention. This is true invention in the most sophisticated way. Speakers Push the Air is perhaps the most instant track and is unerringly addictive. Since I got my hands on this, I want it to live in my CD player. Take a chance. Also, White Stripes fans will love it. Forget The Strokes this is the real intellegent future.
