ITS not what I thought it would be........... bit fluffy really,
This review is from: Into Paradise (Audio CD)
Good morning all,
I like classical music, specially Katherine Jenkinsmy, so my son recommended that I take a look at the all angels website this morning, as he said they might be my cup of tea. I must admit, I did not know of this classical group before my son mentioned them in his email this morning. Listening to lots of clips of their songs on this record, I'm not quiet sure who this is supposed to be for. The voices aren't as beautiful as Katherine Jenkins, or as pure as the Choir Boys - somewhere in between. I must admit, that listening to girls singing these songs, in their late teens, makes me feel uncomfortable. They are sweet girls, but surely they shouldn't be presented as mature grown up women - but their songs on this album (many of them grown up pop songs) lead you to believe they are. With Katherine being a more grown up late twenties lady, she is more comfortable to listen to. Her voice has a more rounded, mellow edge, which doesn't screach at you with high notes. I'm not very keen on her new album Rejoice, as this has far too much pop and drums in it, I was actually very annoyed by this too. Where is the music for us classical music lovers, who want classical songs sung by contemporary singers right for the material??
I just don't understand where modern classical music is going, and my son was certainly wrong - this is not my cup of tea at all.

Have no idea why you are comparing them to Katherine Jenkins, or why you talk about Katherine in this review more than the girls themselves! The mind boggles. Probably why very few people have found this review helpful.
