This review is from: Holly's Inbox: Scandal in the City (Paperback)
Holly works as a receptionist in an investment bank, and has a 'now you see him now you don't' relationship with childhood sweetheart Toby. Then there are her friends Jason and Aisha, not to speak of Trisha who she works with and Tanya who rapidly becomes an enemy and her eccentric family not to mention upstairs neighbour Frank. Holly gets an offer of promotion but can she combine management with friendship? And precisely what is Tanya up to behind the scenes?
Other people's correspondence always makes compulsive reading if you're at all interested in people. Whilst the contents of the e-mails are frequently trivial the idea that you're spying on someone else's life draws you in and before you know where you are you're on page 100 and you're hooked! I loved it and it's a quick read - don't be put off by the number of pages as e-mail takes up more space than ordinary print.
