Most useful calendar for our family,
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Amy Knapp's Big Grid Family Organizer (Calendar)
We are a family of 5 (3 kids ranging from 6 months to 11 years) and this has been the most useful calendar we have used. Whilst I agree that you dont have the advantage of separate column for each member of the family, you at least have a good large space per day. I personally always find the one line per day on the family calendars very restrictive.
There is a daily space for the family dinnner planner which I use for the kids weekly activities swimming, cricket, tennis etc. There are a lot of stickers, but I only use a few of them - I add to them with my own which I buy from a stationer (the kids help to choose these so hopefully they will pay some attention!). The calendar hangs from a hook on the kitchen wall and is in full view of the family even though they still need reminding to check it to see what is going on.
The calendar has a month to view flip down page for each month, with a space for your own monthly projects and a space for reminders as well as a list of monthly projects that they recommend you fit into your life somehow like dusting ceiling fans and light fixtures (that does not get much attention in this home).
At the back it has a full range of stickers, a tear off notes section and a back page for important telephone numbers etc - which to be honest only noticed now that I am reviewing it - will definitely remember to use this with the new calendar.
I have ordered next years already and find this calendar well worth the money.
