Take care if with bt wifi or dont have micro sim card,
This review is from: BRIGHTPOINT NEXUS 4 8GB IN (Electronics)
I must say firstly that Google are excellent and tried to resolve my problem with the nexus 4, when they failed they have organised a return straight away, you do have 15 days to return it !!!!
It was a nightmare and I should have done more geeky research, I can only say that all these good reviewers must have had more luck than I did, when I googled authentication problems with nexus 4 masses of messages came up on the internet from people with same problem as I had.
No1 The sim card I have with my bt phone is too big for the Nexus. It requires a micro sim. As I have no mobile phone shops in the small fishing village where I live , this was first problem.
No2 It wont connect using a bt home hub. Google tried to overcome this but could not, bt did not help at all .
No 3 Bt wifi wont connect without the app. It is impossible to download the app without a micro phone card with wifi.Apparently even when you download the app bt users say it wont connect, I cannot answer for that as even sim card did not fit.
No 4 If you do research even people who have connected with phone card cannot get decent coverage with bt wifi or fon.
So if you have bt internet beware!!!!!
Once again have to praise google, they coulkd not do enough to try and help and I am sure if you go into a store they can sort this problem out for you. Also if you phone google before buying the nexus they will set it up for you before they dispatch it, wish I had known all these problems.

My gf had the same problem with the micro sim, but was able to trim hers (using scissors) to make it fit. There are plenty of instructions on how to do this on the web and despite having my own reservations, it worked! She even did it wrong as she was too impatient and it still worked.
I know it's probably too late for you (unless you're keen to try again), but if anyone reads this review, hopefully this comment will help.

A phone store will trim your sim card with a sim card cutter to turn it into a micro sim card. You can buy a cutter on Amazon.
