An OK little guide,
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Philip's Stargazing 2013 (Paperback)
We liked the small size of this guide to the skies because it is easy to take on holiday without worrying about carrying too much load. It gives an indication of what to look for in the sky for every month of the year. Nonetheless a very limited amount of information is on offer even though this is expected from its small size. Adequately prized for its content.

Dr. Heather Couper says:
I am the author of this book. It is packed with masses of up-to-date information, and this reviewer doesn't know what he is talking about. He appears not to know anything about astronomy - his other reviews are largely about children's games, nursing, or sociology. We take great care every year to research the most detailed, up-to-date facts about what to expect in the heavens, month-by month, in a way that is not covered by other yearbooks. Our sales figures testify to the fact that this book - which has been published annually since 2005 - now has a huge following.

C. Richardson says:
It's not against the law to give a 3 star review.... and having an interest in children's games also doesn't equal ignorance about astronomy.
This review wouldn't have made me question buying the book - but your response has.
