Major dissapointment from a very irregular writer,
By A CustomerNeil Gaiman writes with an eye to the market and pleasing the fans but his major vice is sticky fingers. I stopped reading Sandman in the middle of the seasons of mists arc because a certain unwelcome resemblance to Jurgen's visit to hell. Here he steals from Lord Dunsany and he does it poorly, without the wit and irony. This is a bad book and anybody who liles this kind of thing will be much beter served by "The king of Elfland's daugther".
