Loftek Nexus 543 Wireless Camera,
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I already own a Y-Cam internal camera and bought this camera because I could not justify the cost of the external version of the Y-Cam.
As I have already set up one wireless camera to use over the network and remotely using a DDNS host, I found it reasonably easy to set this one up using the supplied software on CD. I can now view it at home, office or on my Android smart phone.
Out of the box I was initially disappointed that the image was blurred, but having done some research on the web I found that it was simply a case of unscrewing the front bezel, removing the glass cover and rotating the camera lens to adjust the focus for the required field of view. I took this opportunity to smear a little vaseline around the seal and thread to aid moisture tightness.
The angle of view is not as good as the Y-Cam but the colour definition is better (In my opinion) also, this camera is one fifth of the price! The night vision is good and the case seems very sturdy.
All in all, a great buy for the price.

Mr. L. R. Earle says:
can this camera record all the time and not just when it detects motion

The camera doesn't record, the recording is carried out by your NAS or connected computer. Rob

Does the camera come with software to record or do you have to get that separately? If so, what software is it?

No, the camera itself has no recording medium. You have to take the output and record to an external device. I use my Synology NAS to record using it's inbuilt software.

Thanks for a great review. Just set it up today and the focus was good but now slightly blurred. Thanks for the tip about fixing it.
