My mind just won't let it go,
This review is from: A Home at the End of the World (Paperback)
Bought this book due to the comments here (i respect those who write useful reviews after finishing a book here)
Now i myself finished the book this afternoon and i have to say i feel a bit weird or something like that now.
Bobby and Jon were teenage friends and they grew up together then Bobby experienced continuous family changes and Jon fell in love with him...
Then they stepped into adulthood. Jon went to NY for uni and met Clare, a rich mid-aged woman who'd divorced and been childless. They became good mates. Clare wanted to have a kid with Jon. Jon was having sex with someone else. Bobby called saying he's moving to NY to be with Jon...Then they three started a life together under the same roof.
At first i was attracted to the story because the time Jon and Bobby spent together as young teenagers was lovely. And i quite liked Alice.
Then i experienced disappointment and puzzlement in the middle part.
The ending of the book was just what i expected. Clare did the right thing i guess. Jon and Bobby ended up being together in an unusual way.
Although i finished the whole book hours ago, my mind still won't let the whole story go.
The book has magic power.
I checked the other books done by the writer here and found out the character settings are more or less the same.
Guess he really loves triangle and the relationships it represents.
