I was looking forward to receiving this book, not least because I have heard good things about the food at titbits. I was disappointed because the recipes lack lustre and the tone of the writing is patronising. In the recipe for parsnip soup (pg 111), there is a 'tip', which reads 'parsnips look rather like carrots but they are yellowish-white in colour'...enough said.

this might be a case of things not getting lost in translation, parsnips are much less well known in Switzerland, hence the explanation.
