Great coffee maker. And simple to use.,
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Bialetti Elegance Venus Induction 10 Cup Stainless Steel Espresso Maker (Kitchen & Home)
Bought one of these as wanted something that would make a pot of decent coffee.
Also needed something that would work on an Aga cooker.
The Bialetti does exactly that. It makes really decent coffee. Is simple to use.
Only small hassle is cleaning it and that is simple too - even for a bloke...
Looks smart and great for dinner parties. Although I would say that 10-cup is a stretch. More like 6 decent sized cups of caffeine.
We also have an Nespresso capsule based coffee maker. The Bialetti makes coffee that is just as good and way cheaper. You just need to experiment in the make of coffee you use.

I agree with everything in this review - my 10 cup Venus works well on my AGA, induction and gas hobs. Although I slightly prefer my Nespresso coffee I've found that their machines work less well after a few months and their capsules are very expensive.
I've found that the base only holds around 350ml of water, some of which has to remain in the base after the coffee is brewed to prevent burning/overheating, so it certainly doesn't make nearly enough coffee for my 10 (very small) coffee cups. However since I normally use it for milky coffee for breakfast this is not often problem, I just make two brews for dinner parties.
