This review is from: What to Look for in Winter (Hardcover)
A Scottish morality tale combined with seductive post-Jungian self-analysis, this is the book for people who fail at being perfect. With sudden slashes of brutal humour, McWilliam creates an unflattering portrait of herself somewhere between Shrek's sister and a reclusive Mary Magdalene. Beauty is over-rated and undervalued. She's a talented, intelligent writer who needs to give up guilt for Lent and write more books.
