Good finish, however chipped in 4 days,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What is this?)I was a bit dubious about ordering the bluesky shellac, as it's a knockoff of the 'real' CND shellac. However, I could order the basecoat, topcoat and a colour for a fraction of the price of the real stuff, so I threw caution to the wind and gave it a try.
I wasn't impressed by the 3-18 day delivery estimate, however it arrived very quickly and in one piece. It went on very well and gave a salon quality finish, however it chipped in 4 days. However, I am very hard on my nails - I think that it chipped after doing the washing up - but I have used the calgel system before and that stayed perfect until I had to take it off after 2 weeks. On the plus side, it was quite easy to take off.
However, for the price, I am considering investing in more colours as it is very cheap.

I have just received the Bluesky Shallac and tried it on my daughter and the colour wouldn't set and was so watery. we tried two coats and was no better, I'm not sure that the U.V. light is working properly. I would be grateful if anyone has any other feedback about Bluesky because the other forums I have looked at slate the product.
out of pocket Liz

Did you use a base coat? If that cured fine then it's not your lamp. If you didn't use a base, then you've applied the sytem incorrectly and it won't cure (this happened to my friend) Is it a 36 watt lamp? The UV lamps need the tubes replacing every so often as well
