Where are the first 2?,

This review is from: Second Foundation (Kindle Edition)
This is an excellent book and the Kindle version is a good edition. However the book is typicial of what is wrong with the way that publishers treat electronic versions of their books - what is the point of publishing a Kindle version of the third book in a trilogy without publishing the first two in the series? For goodness sake publishers, get your act together and embrace the future.

I agree with this. It really annoys me that I can't read the first two books. Why is Asimov so neglected on the Kindle. It's a crime!

Let me join in the chorus of complaints about the lack of availability of Asimov's books on Kindle. For goodness sake, these are classics so PUBLISH THEM!!!

Third-ed by me as well. Let's hope one publisher at least can get their act together to publish the whole Foundation series (and all the robot novels as well, to boot).

I agree wholeheartedly with earlier comments. It is very frustrating that there are so few of Asimov's major titles on Kindle. I hope publishers will realise soon just how much pent-up demand there is. I have most of his titles in paper versions in one house or another, but it would be good to have them all in a more portable format too.

this lack of earlier Asimov editions is maddening - i was really looking forward to re-visiting these books on my Kindle and finding that the whole series isnt available is one of those frustrating moments where one cant help thumping the desk and ask 'who on Earth made that decision and why did they do it'?

I totally agree. I would love to have all of the Foundation books on Kindle. It's a shame that people are driven to giving a 3 star review for a book they love because of the failings of the publisher.

It's depressing that the first two in the series are STILL NOT AVAILABLE on Kindle. C'mon, get moving!

Anyone from the publishing companies listening to their customers? Nearly 3 years on and still no sign of the first two books in the series.

It's odd that the whole trilogy *is* available on Kindle in other languages.
