ANOTHER ONE WITH A DOCTORATE FROM "THE COLLEGE OF THE DA VINCI CODE",
This review is from: Lost Scriptures: Books that Did Not Make It into the New Testament (Paperback)
If you want to know the truth about the books that never made it into the bible, you shouldn't rely on this book nor books like this, which ignore nearly 100,000 sources of factual and historical information that easily assist in refuting the claims made in this book and others like it.

What do you find to be unsatisfactory in this book? What exactly are the claims made in this book? Of what relevance are the '100,000 sources' to those claims? Why should I not rely on this book to know the truth about texts excluded from the Bible. Please explain, otherwise your review is of little value.

Absolutely - it's easy to say there are nearly 100,000 sources - much more convincing if Hawkeye claimed there are at least 10 - more convincing still if he(?) were to identify 2 or 3 of those he(?) considers to be the most important. As it is - and as Alan says - this bald assertion contributes nothing to our understanding.
